Trenchless rehabilitation of sewers in Gdańsk

Rehabilitation of a ca. 3.2 km long sewer and 100 manholes, 130 laterals, and 10 sewer connections in Gdańsk – an agreement for this project was signed in June 2017 with Gdańska Infrastruktura Wodociągowo-Kanalizacyjna sp. z o.o. The diameters of rehabilitated sewers: DN200–DN450. To carry out the rehabilitation we chose the CIPP trenchless method using a fiber-glass reinforced lining, UV light cured (ca. 2.5 km sewer), while ducts were replaced by pipe bursting (ca. 300 m) and open trench (ca. 400 m). This investment is worth over PLN 3.5 million net. The planned completion date is 14 July 2019, however, due to good work progress we plan to finish the contract still in 2018.
